Welcome to the website for the Rotary Club of Swindon Old Town. We are a small, but active Rotary Club based in the Old Town area of the town of Swindon, located in the county of Wiltshire in England.

Our largest event is Swindon's Famous Duck Race. The event itself is held on the last Bank Holiday in May each year, raising in excess of £12,000 for many smaller local charities in the process. It is a wonderful example of community involvement for mutual benefit - and quite a bit of fun to take part in too!

You will also see us popping up at various festivals and events across the year with our Soft Toy Tombola, whose primary focus is to raise funds for the school we sponsor in Desai, Nairobi, Kenya. It also involved plenty of preparation behind the scenes - with a great shared achievement and plenty of entertainment along the way.

Our regular meetings are on Wednesdays, with a 7.30am start and a duration of roughly an hour, which then allows time to get to work. The meetings might be early, but they can often be a great energiser for the day ahead!
