Rotary District 1100 covers Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Bristol, Swindon, parts of Monmouthshire, Somerset, and Wiltshire. There are 63 clubs within District1100 with almost 1,800 members.
Rotary, contrary to popular opinion, welcomes men and women, young and senior. Our members come from different walks of life, nationalities, and faiths. Most importantly, we are all Rotarians working together, sharing values, and with a belief in Service above Self.
Our District Governor for 2021 is Chris Firth, is a member of the Rotary Club of Royal Wootton Bassett and District. To find out more about what’s happening in the District via the website for District1100 or on the District Facebook page
A key area for Chris is the scourge of Modern Slavery in the UK. You can learn more here and check out how we can help to raise awareness and identify potential victims. FGM and forced marriage still take place in the UK and our young people need to be protected from this abuse.
